Limited Warranty: All metal frames, plastic, and laminate parts are guaranteed against structural failure for 6 months of normal use. The upholstery and powder coat finishes used on our products are also guaranteed for 6 months against unusual wear as long the material is cared for properly and not abused;

Glass Blemishes & Imperfections
of Glass
Chintaly Imports uses the finest materials and fabrication equipment available. The quality of this product meets or exceeds Federal Specifications that allow for small bubbles (smaller than 1/4" in diameter) minor waviness, and hairline scratches that are inherent in the manufacturing of glass. (Scratches must be able to be viewed from a distance of 3 feet when the glass is in a vertical position to be deemed unacceptable by industry standards, ASTM Designation C1036-91.) The nature of handcrafted glass may have any of these imperfections, which will serve to emphasize the individuality of your piece. As with all fine glass, care must be exercised in cleaning to ensure years of lasting beauty.
Tolerances:
Please allow + or - 1/2" for all glass tops.
Handling
It is important to note that whenever glass furniture is moved either from one room to another location, completely disassemble the glass from the hardware to prevent damage or cracking. It is also recommended that the placement of glass furniture be on level, carpeted surfaces to insure surface contact with entire base structure. Other types of flooring are acceptable as long as they are level. Pads are recommended for use on rough flooring surfaces such as brick, marble, stone or concrete.
Freight Claims
Merchandise must be opened and inspected immediately.
Chintaly Imports merchandise is carefully packed and thoroughly inspected before leaving our factory. The carrier upon acceptance of shipment assumed responsibility for its safe delivery. Claims for loss or damage sustained in transit must, therefore, be made upon the carrier as follows:
Concealed Loss or Damage
Concealed loss or damage means loss or damage that does not become apparent until the merchandise has been unpacked. The contents may be damaged in transit due to rough handling even though the carton may not show external damage. When the damage is discovered upon packing, make a written request for inspection by the carrier's agent within 15 days of the delivery date. Then file a claim with the carrier since damage is the carrier's responsibility.
Chintaly Imports cannot file this claim for you. If you choose to store the merchandise uncrated for a longer period of time, any damage discovered upon packing is your responsibility.

or the freight carrier cannot be responsible for stored merchandise.
Visible Loss or Damage
Any external evidence of loss or damage must be noted on the freight bill or express receipt, and signed by the carrier's agent. Failure to adequately describe such external evidence of loss or damage may result in the carrier refusing to honor a damage claim. The carrier will supply the form required to file such a claim.
Manufacturing Defects
Claims for manufacturing defects must be reported in writing within 7 days from receipt of merchandise.
Replacement
Chintaly Imports will be happy to enter a replacement order for you. Please notify customer service in writing that you have filed a damage claim with the carrier, and require a replacement. Since the carrier will reimburse you for the original invoice amount,
Chintaly Imports will require payment on both the original and replacement invoices.
